These general conditions apply on reservations of rooms and suites as well as on services performed by the Hotel.
Each booking implies that the Client agreed upon the present general terms of sales.
ARTICLE 1: Reservation procedure
Any booking proposal is valid during 7 days. Once upon the option date exceeded, the option is deleted without remind from the Hotel.
A booking proposal or a quote cannot be held as a firm booking confirmation.
The deposit runs as a guarantee and will be held by the Hotel in case of cancellation or shortened stay, as a financial compensation, regarding to article 1590 of the French Civil Code. The deposit shall be deducted from the final checkout invoice, provided that the booking has been fully respected.
ARTICLE 2: Cancellation / modification of the booking
Any cancellation or modification of a booking must be advised in writing by email.
The cancellation / modification will be reputed as valid once upon the written confirmation from the Hotel.
For any booking cancellation more than 30 days prior arrival, the deposit is reimbursed after deduction of 50 € per room for management fee.
For any booking cancellation 30 days or less prior arrival, the deposit is kept by the Hotel, as a financial compensation, regarding to article 1590 of the French Civil Code.
For each reservation made on Booking.com, Expedia and any other website (except the one of the Hotel), we thank you to refer to the cancellation policy advised on your reservation.
Please note that in case of cancellation, the Hotel will not reimburse the deposit, nor the balance even in the event of the rooms are resold.
In case of early departure, rooms are given back to the Hotel and cannot be taken back by the Guest, nor substituted to another Guest.
For any booking cancellation regarding the Covid-19, the deposit is reimbursed against presentation of supporting documentation and only in the following circumstances:
- Closure of borders by the French government or by the government of the client’s country of origin or by a transit country. In the light of this, the Guest address has to be advised upon booking.
- Mileage limitation for travel around home for French residents.
- Closure of airports / stations in France or in the client’s country of origin.
- Closure of the ski lifts or the hotel by the French government.
ARTICLE 3: No-show
In case of no-show, the booking will be definitely cancelled.
The deposit is kept by the Hotel, as a financial compensation, regarding to article 1590 of the French Civil Code.
For each reservation made on Booking.com, Expedia and any other website (except the one of the Hotel), the total prepayment of the booked stay is fully retained by the Hotel and cannot be reimbursed nor postponed for another stay.
ARTICLE 4: Early departure
In case of early departure, the amount of the stay, as specified in the booking confirmation, will be due in full, as a financial compensation.
Even in case of emergency, the Hotel will not reimburse.
ARTICLE 5: Arrival and Departure
On the day of the arrival, rooms are reputed ready from 4.00 pm and must be released by 12.00 pm on your departure day.
A late checkout after 12.00 pm, on previous request and depending on availability, may result additional charges.
To provide better service, we kindly ask you the estimated arrival hour at the Hotel.
For any early check-in or late checkout, two changing rooms with shower and a storage room are available.
Luggage in the storage room are everyone’s responsibility. The Hotel cannot be held responsible for personal effects stolen, lost or damaged in the shared areas.
ARTICLE 6: Room allocation
The Hotel shall do its best to match the Guest’s preferences, which has been advised upon booking, but cannot guarantee a floor, a particular room number or decoration style.
Upon reservation, please mention type of bedding (twin beds, double bed…)
Upon booking, and subject to availability, the Hotel can provide a free baby cot.
ARTICLE 7: City tax
City tax, per night and per adult aged 18 years old minimum, must be paid on site upon checkout.
ARTICLE 8: Catering
The breakfast is served at our restaurant, from 7.30 am until 9.45 am. Guests can also have a continental breakfast in their room.
The restaurant is open for lunch, from 12.30 pm till 1.45 pm and; for dinner from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm.
Half-board includes breakfast and dinner (beyond the room).
Drinks are not included.
Any allergy or specific diet must be advised upon booking.
The Restaurant offers a menu with the allergen in each dish.
Meals not taken will not be reimbursed nor deducted.
ARTICLE 9 : Spa
Our Spa and wellness facilities are opened every day, from 9.30 am until 12.00 pm, and from 3.30 pm until 8.00 pm.
The Christiania Spa offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and a small fitness area.
The wellness area is a place dedicated to relaxation. We thank our Clients to respect calm and discretion.
Les enfants de moins de 16 ans doivent être accompagnés d’au moins un adulte qui en aura la responsabilité.
Les soins et massages sont en supplément.
ARTICLE 10 : Conciergerie
The hotel has a concierge service for booking activities, ski lessons, restaurants, cab or helicopter transfers.
Customers can order their ski passes before their arrival, directly on the Val d’Isère Téléphérique website.
It is also possible to order them at the Hotel Reception, by filling in an order form. Payment is made using the customer's credit card.
ARTICLE 11: Animals
Pets are not accepted in the Hotel nor in the Restaurant.
ARTICLE 12: Non-smoking hotel
Shared areas and rooms are strictly non-smoking.
In the Hotel, there is a smoking-room. Furthermore, most of the rooms have a balcony, where Clients can smoke. An ashtray is available in the room.
If any damage due to tobacco consumption are assessed in the room (smells of cigarettes, burns…), the Hotel reserves the right to charge the cost of repairs and / or the cleanings to the Clients.
ARTICLE 13 : Damage
The Guest gets involved to use the whole facilities of the Hotel in good order. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the cost of the damage caused by the Guest. The Liability insurer of the Guest could be involved.
ARTICLE 14: Mediator for Tourism and Travel
For any matter of litigation, Client have the possibility of seizing the Mediator, regarding to article L.156-1 of the Consumer Code. Mediator for Tourisme and Travel, whose contact details and referral requirements are available on the site: www.mtv.travel
